Before joining the call, you are able to choose which microphone and camera you want to enable.
Unfortunately, there are rare cases where MeetFox can't detect your camera or microphone. Here are a few tips that can help solve this.
Disable other tools:
close all other tabs that has the MeetFox app running
close all other tabs or softwares that use a microphone or camera (ie other video tools, recording tools, audio tools..etc)
Browser Update:
MeetFox can only support the most up to date versions of all browsers. To find out which versions MeetFox supports, please read this.
To update your browser, please choose the link to the following browser (we recommend to use Chrome).

Browser Settings:
Browser settings need to be adjusted to allow the camera and microphone to work.
Google Chrome
Setting up your default camera
Open your Chrome browser
Copy and paste this URL: chrome://settings/content/camera
Make sure you allow access to the desired camera and to the MeetFox app.

Open your Chrome browser
Copy and paste this URL: chrome://settings/content/microphone
Make sure you allow access to the desired microphone and to the MeetFox app.

Mozilla Firefox

Click on the top-right icon (triple line) and choose Options
Scroll down until you see the Permissions tab

Click on Settings for the camera
Allow MeetFox to have access to your camera

Click on Settings for the microphone
Allow MeetFox to have access to your microphone
Operating System Settings:
You will need to make sure that you set the correct default microphone or camera in order to enable it when using MeetFox.
Windows:
Setting up your default camera
Click on Setting on the main page using the windows icon on the left and go to the Windows Setting.

Click on Privacy

Make sure you allow the apps to access your camera.

Go to your Setting (same way as the above)
Click on System and make sure you choose the desired input device

MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) and newer

Click on the Apple icon on the top left
Select System Preferences
Select Security & Privacy section
Click on Camera
Make sure you allow access to your browser to enable the camera

Click on Microphone
Make sure you allow access to your browser to enable the microphone

Safari:
Allowing camera and mic for meetfox app:
Click on "Safari", then "Preferences" and finally pick "Websites".
Check if camera and mic are allowed for app.meetfox.com and/or meetfox.com

Close your browser and reopen to allow the changes to be in effect.
MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and older
When your microphone doesn't work, you will need to make sure it is setup properly.
Click on the apple icon on the top left
Select System Preferences
Choose Sound
Select the desired input device

Close your browser and reopen to allow the changes to be in effect.
More Advanced:
Browser Extensions
There can be issues with certain extensions within the browser that can cause issues for certain websites. To see whether this is the issue, try using the incognito tab.
If this is the case, one type of extensions is causing issues. To detect which extension, you will need to manually delete one at a time and test it.
Firewalls
Depending on your network settings, some browsers have firewalls that will not allow enabling the Camera or Microphone. To see whether this is the issue, try another browser.
