How to Use MeetFox
Keeping track of meetings can be a hassle for entrepreneurs and busy freelancers. In today's globally connected environment, new considerations like dealing with multiple time zones and custom work-from-home schedules can further complicate the task of organizing and hosting meetings.

What is MeetFox?
MeetFox is an all-in-one scheduling, video-conferencing, invoicing and payment processing tool. Whether you're a consultant that's always on the move, or a manager in an ever-growing remote team, or if you're simply looking for a way to scale your meetings effortlessly, MeetFox is the only tool you need.
How do I use MeetFox?
How to Register a New Account
On our sign up page, you have the option of instantly creating an account by signing up with Google, or you can choose to type in your first and last name, and the email address you want to associate with your MeetFox account.
Once you've signed up, you'll be redirected to your MeetFox dashboard. From here, you'll be able to set the type of meetings you'd like to have, adjust your personal schedule and customize your booking page.
Creating Meeting Types
To set different types of meetings, including the title and duration of each type of meeting, click on 'Meeting Types' on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
Then select 'Edit Meeting Types'.
By default you'll see two types of available meeting types: 'Quick Chat', which, as the title suggests, is a short 15 minute meeting; and 'Marketing Consultation' which is a longer 30 minute meeting.
To add a new type of meeting click on 'Add a meeting type'.
Give your new meeting type a name and select the location of your meeting:
When determining your meeting location you can choose between having an:
Online meeting via the in-built MeetFox videoconferencing tool
Online meeting via an external videoconferencing tool
Select 'video meeting via MeetFox'. A meeting link will automatically be generated whenever an appointment is booked, which is super convenient.
If you prefer to use a different videoconferencing tool like Google Meet or Zoom, you can instead select 'online meeting via external tool' and paste in the link to your online meeting in the space provided.
You can opt to leave the meeting description blank, or you can leave a helpful note to let your meeting attendees know how best to prepare for their upcoming appointment.
Next, you can adjust your meeting time to whatever length you prefer. Keep in mind that the length of time you choose will block out a part of your available schedule.
By default, your availability for this meeting is determined by the available meeting times in your schedule. You can of course, create a custom schedule for each type of meeting you create by disabling 'Use default availability' and toggling the range of available meeting times.
Click on 'Save' when you're done to apply the changes you've made.
NB: You can always edit each meeting type later on.
Adjust Your Schedule
To customize your schedule, including the days of the week you're available for meetings and the particular times you're available in each day, click on 'Availability' on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
Then select 'Set Availability'.
Your default schedule can be adjusted in any way you like. You can opt to leave it as is, or you can add a new available meeting time.
When adding a new available time, toggle 'choose day', the 'start time' and 'end time' to create blocks of available time in your schedule. Click on 'Save' when you're done to apply the changes you've made.
Customize Your Booking Page
Your MeetFox booking page is a special page that allows anyone with a link to book meetings with you. To customize your booking page, click on 'My Page' on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
Let's start personalizing your booking page by editing the page title. Click on 'Text'.
You can type in your full name or the name of your business under 'Page Title'. Your 'Page Description' should use a similar pattern and reflect who you are or what your business is about.
Your meeting link should also reflect your page title to give your booking page a professional look and feel.
Click on 'Link Details' to customize your booking page link.
MeetFox users with a free account will have their booking links appended to the MeetFox.com domain (website name). You can however, freely change the last portion of your booking link to suit your needs.
NB: Premium MeetFox subscribers can use a custom domain name that fits their brand.
Now that we've customized the page title and link details, we can upload an appropriate profile picture.
Click on 'Images'.
You can upload your profile picture or business logo by selecting 'Update profile picture' and choosing an image stored on your device.
When you're satisfied with your new custom booking page, click on the 'Save' button to apply all the changes you've made.
Assign Your Price (Optional)
If you're a consultant or an agency that charges fees for your meeting time, you can bill your clients and collect payments directly within MeetFox.
Set an Hourly Rate
To charge your clients for your meeting time, you'll have to create a new meeting type or edit an existing meeting type and toggle the option 'Will you charge for this meeting?'
If you'd liked to enable a quick and easy way of processing payments, MeetFox currently supports payment processing with Stripe. Your customers will be prompted to pay via Credit Card when your Stripe integration is active.
Click on 'Payments' on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
To enable Stripe click on 'Activate' in the 'Credit card payments' tab.
You'll be redirected to Stripe's authorization page. If you don't already have a Stripe account, you'll be prompted to create one.
When you've successfully created / logged into your Stripe account, you'll be asked to select the account you want to connect with MeetFox.
Once you've linked your Stripe account with MeetFox you'll be able to start processing payments right away.
Enable Automatic Invoicing
Whether you use Stripe or a different payment processor, MeetFox can still effectively be used for billing by automatically generating invoices based on the hourly rate of meetings hosted through MeetFox.
To generate invoices for your clients, click on the 'Activate' button in the 'Payable upon invoice receipts' tab to enable invoicing.
You will be required to key in the details of your business and relevant tax information to complete the process of enabling invoicing.
Integrate MeetFox into Your Workflow
Booking meetings just got even easier with MeetFox's pre-built buttons, widgets and embeddable content that can be integrated into your website and social media pages.
To get started, click on 'Integrations' on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
There are also a number of ways to embed your booking page into your website.
Host Your First Meeting!
Why wait for a booking?
You can instantly generate a meeting link by visiting the home page of your MeetFox dashboard. Either click on the MeetFox logo in the top-left corner of your screen or click on 'Home' on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
Click on the 'Meet Now' button to generate a meeting link that you can use to jump into a meeting and invite others to attend the meeting along with you.
